BIM 1 introduces the principles and practical applications of Building Information Modelling (BIM) using Autodesk Revit.
Through hands-on exercises, you will build a 3D architectural model following two complementary approaches: conceptual massing for exploring forms in early design, and modelling from 2D documentation for detailed, construction-oriented development.
You will also learn to produce plans, elevations, sections, axonometric views and perspectives from the model, and to organise them on sheets.
This course introduces Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its key concepts. Participants will learn to create custom parametric components integrated into the digital model and collaborate using BIM-specific collaborative workflows.
